About the Museum
The Museum of Art – DeLand is a vital and interactive 501 (c) 3 non-profit visual arts museum enriching the community through its dedication to the collection, preservation, study, exhibition and educational use of the fine arts. The Museum is a source of cultural focus and is recognized statewide by its peers for academic excellence and community outreach. It is host to several rotating exhibits, gallery talks, receptions, educational programming, master artist workshops and special events throughout the year.

The Museum of Art- DeLand’s Permanent Collection consists of more than 750 pieces of art. The entire collection is not on view, but rather several dozen selected works are on view in the galleries. We also exhibit special works from time to time that are on long term loan from artists, collectors and other institutions. The goal is for the viewing public is to enjoy and learn from previously stored works.
